Whether the quote above is true or not, I know that I’ve personally experienced a much happier, healthier, and energized life when I choose to conciously create an alkaline environement.
I have read considerably, and learned the theory a great deal of the effects of an acidic system environment.
* In skin cells â€" causes premature wrinkling, dry, brittle nails and dull and lifeless hair!
* Wears down muscle mass â€" and causes premature aging.
* In your body tissues â€" drains the calcium in your bones â€" and causes crippling osteoporosis.
What does this all mean? Taking alkaline foods and water in order to provide nutrients the body needs to neutralize acids and toxins in the blood, lymph, tissues and cells may be something that support your body. Of course, it is always wise and the recommendation of this author for you to check with your health professional to help you make the best health decision that is appropriate for you.
Changing towards a more alkaline lifestyle may require you to change the way you think. The most important aspect is keeping in mind that one step at a time get you to your destination, as long as you don't give up. Keep adding foods that are more alkaline each day. Keep these in mind, I trust they will serve you:
Don't take in as much sugar, this includes sodas, jello, ice cream, candy, etc..
* Avoid processed foods and condiments including ketchup, salad dressings, pickles, breakfast meats, canned fruit, bread, taste, cheese dips, peanut butter, prepared seafood, frozen vegetables, biscuits, canned soups, hot dogs, sausages, sweetened yogurt.
* Don't use the microwave, it kills pretty much every nutritional value of a food you eat.
*Avoid milk, meat, fried foods and fast food.
* Increase the consumption of raw vegetables and raw fruits (without sugar). You must include raw vegetables in every meal. If your breakfast is so small that you only eat toast or cereal, stop eating toast and take fresh fruit or vegetable juices instead. If your lunches are usually consist of sandwiches to try to replace it with a raw salad or vegetable juice. They have a big salad before eating a heavy dinner appetizer. In this way, you'll be sure to eat salad instead of finding all too full to finish it.
* cereals form the basis of a balanced diet and are important in maintaining the alkaline balance the body. Grains are great source of vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients, including folic acid, fiber, antioxidants and phytoestrogens carbohydrates. The Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Minnesota has established that consumption of whole grains reduces the risk of chronic diseases including cancer and cardiovascular disease. Eating cereal you can eat less but feel full. Grains should comprise about 20% of your diet.
Drink water, hydrate, toma agua, and I'll repeat it in as many ways, and as many languages as possible, drink water. Your body is made up of over 70% water, lets replenish it..
* Empower your mind and actions by consulting with health professionals such as a holistic chiropractor. They have many resources to help you along the way.
Create alkaline balance within your physique will bring a much better quality of life. You just may begin to see immediate changes in your health. You may notice an increas in energy, your concentration may be stronger. See what happens to your build strength, endurance and resistance to disease. In general, you may find that your body may work more efficiently, just as it was designed to do.
